Job Description
As the OUTsurance Claims Assessor (Buildings) you will be responsible for assessing, validating and finalising personal lines and business claims.
Responsibilities
Validate all incidents and claims
Meeting with clients, witnesses etc.
Finalise all reports and administration (reports, scanning, photographs etc.)
Liaise with service providers
Make the decision, all administration and telephonic queries arising around that.
Handling and resolving all queries and problems from service provider and clients.
Conduct all the above to the required performance and quality standards that are in place.
 
 
Qualifications
Qualifications
Essential 
Matric
A valid driver’s license
 Building industry experience and/or tertiary qualification or significant progress towards obtaining any construction or built environment related qualification (NQF 6 or above)
Experience
Construction or building related experience
Building/ Construction/ Plumbing or Electrical/Electronic related experience
Face to Face Client services experience
Investigation/Assessing experience, especially in a short-term insurance industry. Preferably Buildings Assessing experience
Advantageous
A tertiary qualification or significant progress towards obtaining any construction or built environment related qualification would be highly beneficial
